Fairer Sweets

The past couple of days unravelled 2 conversations, with 2 different people that brought about some thought or another.
The concept of the female of the species is regarded as the fairer sex apparently has more depth than the idea of being the more "attractive" halve. Of course, this alone can be debated and for the record, I agree that women are more attractive. In context, the discussion was based on an essay question with regards to "Women and terrorism" specifically in dealing with the Israel- Palestinian conflict (now this, I won't go into detail, loads of rotten apples there). The concept of attractiveness in this particular context is amazing in the barest sense of humanity. From women who kill themselves (strapped with bombs usually), as mothers and wives. On both sides of the wall, from the killers to the killed. Politics aside, is there a strange sort of twisted beauty in struggle? From empathy to her surroundings and "something" for the cause. One thing that both sides have is the need to do something for someone/ something they love. Of course, I'm not discounting the probability of being forced into doing something. Is there a common philosophy of life that flows in between both sides? Well, to be honest... I'm just throwing questions.
On the concept of philosophy and existentialism where a suffering individual must create meaning in an unknowable, chaotic, and seemingly empty universe is reduced to the concept of candy in one's palm. Introduced to the view of there being the todler and adult. Should all things in life be minimised and be represented by just a piece of candy, the reaction of both the todler and the adult should the candy be snatched away will be totally different. One will react with screaming and crying (the view being that the candy means a heck of a lot i.e the individual is taking an "all there is" view on the concept of existentialism) or as an adult, will shrug it off and would attempt to get another piece of candy in order to attain the same level of utility from the sweet (economists, correct me please) and based on the concept of existen... blah, blah, blah would move on to act on the emptiness of his space in order to once again, fill it with a lesser, equal or better situation and possibility.
The more I read the above, the less I understand.
