Think about it, from the rubber soles on our shoes (fighter jets) to this blog (the internet) all stem from the need to advance military technology at different stages of human civilization. The need to gain an edge against the enemy, the desire to destroy more or less... depending on how you look at it.
What was designed to save, destroys... and what was designed to destroy, saves. It almost seems as though should world peace ever be obtained, the end of human lifestyle development can't be far behind.
Engineers... Are we to be blamed?
