Listening to: 3*5, John Mayer
Thinking of:
How many engineers does it take to work a photocopy machine? Well, our resident tall friend, Jackie decided to take an aptitude test while Dhammika, Beatrice and myself decided to pop by the Learning Grid to grab a book and to take a look at the place. The place definitely funky, with nice couches, workstations and grided cubicles. Oh did I forget to mention the many 42 inch plasma screens and dvd players? I swear Steve Jobs had a hand in the design, looks almost Apple like (which is good). But anyway, back to the first line... So we found the book and realized that since its for reference, it was not possible to get it out of the place. So we hopped over to the photocopy machine with photocopying card in hand, all eager and bright eyed! Alas! It asked us for our username and password! What the?! *Blink* So yeah, we stared at it for a while, pressed a couple of buttons on the really nice, but annoying touch screen and nope! Lousy GUI! So as we found out a couple of minutes later from a really nice girl that you've gotta buy credits online and then use the darned machine. By that time, we found it ironic that 3 engineers found that the machine contained more technology than needed. Oh well, so it was back to copying the answer the old fashioned way... with the pen and paper. Sigh... Cest la Vie.
